Woman Flown To Hospital Following South Jersey Senior Housing Fire: Report

A woman was flown to a PA hospital following a fire that broke out at a senior housing center in South Jersey, NJ Advance Media reported.

The woman, whose name was not released, was found unresponsive as emergency crews arrived in Vineland at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, the outlet said citing Fire Chief Luigi Tramontana Jr.

The blaze started in a kitchen at D’Orazio Terrace complex on South West Avenue, fire officials said.

The victim, who suffered smoke inhalation, was flown via medical helicopter to Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania, where she was listed in critical but stable condition, the report says.
